Rudi developed a rewarding career at Alcatel-Bell and British American Tobacco (FTSE top 10 company), where he was a member of the Management Board as Group Human Resources Director for several years.

He has a wealth of experience in transnational Human Resources and Business Management across all continents.

Until recently, Rudi was a Non-Executive Director at Gattaca Plc and a member of a number of Advisory Boards. He also served as Support Faculty at Third Space – New Ventures West in London, supporting students during their coaching training.

Currently, he is a senior executive mentor with Merryck&Co and he is associated with StrengthsUnleashed (UK) and GrowthAxis(US). He is also a member of the Community of Practice at The Resilience Engine.

Rudi is fascinated with change at both personal and organisational level and is passionate about developing people to become all that they can be. He firmly believes that the world needs less experts and more expert learners, hence his passion for coaching and mentoring.

Clients particularly like Rudi’s commitment and enthusiasm in helping them to (re)discover, apply and embed their full potential. He is being seen a real ‘fellow traveler’, learning as much from his clients as they learn through him. Clients also appreciate his authenticity and his capacity to create a safe place where they can explore and experiment with new and fulfilling ways to approach work and life. In addition, he has a deep understanding of how to integrate personal and organisational change in a sustainable way.

Rudi holds a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from the State University of Ghent and a Postgraduate in Business Economics from UFSIA-Antwerp. He holds a number of one-to-one and team coaching related certifications and is a certified Integral Development Coach through New Ventures West in San Francisco, an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and an Accredited Professional at the International Enneagram Association. He studied Transactional Analysis at the Institute for TA in Rotterdam, and is an on-going student of Leadership, the Enneagram, Leadership Embodiment, Resilience and of how to support clients with making fulfilling and purposeful life and career choices.

Rudi is a Belgian national, currently living in Surrey, England with his wife Nadine, who is a Child Psychotherapist. He has two fabulous daughters, two great sons in law and two fascinating grandchildren. His interests include learning, playing golf, listening to music and strumming the electric guitar, Taiji Qigong, meditation, poetry, travel and fine dining. He is also supporting the Harlequins, a Premier League rugby team in the UK.
